 Not a review, but more of a complaint. US Games in their infinite wisdom decided it would be a great idea to use shiny, smelly lamination for this deck, just like with the new Joie de Vivre Tarot. This worries me, since I now dread how the upcoming (if ever) Sun deck tarot Patrick Valenza US Games might be published. We need to do something to fight this trend.

I don't think I've ever come across a laminated deck. :( I don't like the sound of that.

Not all of them are inundated with tons of industrial chemicals, but it's getting worse with US Games and it the fumes aren't good for my health, so it looks like I'll be selling a few more things on Amazon soon than I originally thought.

It seems I'll have to look in to other publishers soon, even if the cardstock quality might not be to my liking. Even Kat Black's Golden Tarot deck is suffering the same treatment in recent editions of it, so I'll be looking in to Lo Scarabeo, Baba Studios, and even Llewllyn for awhile. Well, that and The Tarot Garden, not a publisher, but they have an incredible selection of decks.

I'm happy with my two decks, thank goodness. Let's just hope it doesn't become a too popular trend.

Hmm. Mine don't smell at all. (still super glossy :/) Maybe I lucked out?? (Though the packaging on mine got the cards slightly bent. >>)
