Admittedly, I've always wanted to find a good astrologer and get my chart done, just because it'd be useful.
I'd google/duckduckgo and ask around for a local traditional or jyotish astrologer-but I would avoid anyone who markets things like "Law of Attraction" along with it, it's way too cult-friendly, and isn't a traditional astrological remedy. Keep your ears open for word of mouth, that kind of thing. I would also read SkyScript.co.uk to brush up a bit on the subject matter (as it's a good thing to be at least somewhat knowledgeable on a subject in order to avoid getting ripped off by people), even though I don't agree with a hundred percent with all the authors or interviewees, but it's a vital site for honest work on the discipline.
